Happening in Upland: Distinguished Schools and Distinguishable Traffic

Welcome to your Upland community update. The 2026 State of the City address will be held Tuesday, March 24th, at Kahramana Restaurant. The event, hosted by the Chamber of Commerce, begins with a social hour at 5 p.m., followed by the program at 6 p.m.

Upland High School has been recognized as a 2026 California Distinguished School for closing the achievement gap for underserved students. The school will be honored at an awards ceremony in Anaheim next month.

Local authorities are reminding residents to remain vigilant regarding public safety. There have been reports of increased traffic incidents and mail theft. Residents are encouraged to use secure mailboxes. The Foothill Boulevard rehabilitation project continues, causing traffic delays from Benson to Euclid. Alternate routes are advised.
